Knee Scare

So my knees have been sore for about 5 years now.
The pain started during my cheerleading days.
Recently my knees have been soooo sore, I felt prompted to go talk to my doctor about them.
Plus having insurance this is easy to do!!!
So I went to the Doctor last week....she felt my knees and prescribed me some medicine for the pain, she also scheduled me an MRI.
So Friday last week I got my MRI done and I took medicine that made me very loopy before the MRI so my anxiety wouldn't go crazy during the MRI process.
I was in the MRI machine for an hour.
After my MRI I took a look at my prints wondering what could be wrong with my poor knees.
I scheduled an appointment to go talk to an Orthopedic Doctor.(Orthopedic Doctors are so cool)
This morning was my appointment and oh boy my nervous were going crazy.
I was hoping that the Doctor wouldn't suggest surgery to me.
I was in the room wearing these crazy, ugly, and huge blue shorts (I wish I took a picture) waiting impatiently for the Doctor to tell me what was wrong.
While I was waiting the nurse brought in two huge needles that I thought might have to go in my knees...thankfully she entered the wrong room(I hate shots)
The Doctor told me I have Patellofemoral Syndrome.
It doesn't go away...but you can help the pain by staying skinny (so extra weight isn't loaded on my knees) and building up my thigh muscles so they can help support my knees.
I have to go to physical therapy three times and take inflammatory medicine.

I AM SO THANKFUL I DON'T NEED SURGERY!
