HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

James and I had a wonderful time New Years Eve celebrating for the upcoming year. We went to dinner at Wingers (my favorite place)
We went to target and loaded our cart with junk food (nothing new)
Went home watched the performances on tv before the ball dropped.
After that we got our New Years kiss and we right to bed!!! Hahaha!

It was a great day!

I remember when I was little my grandparents would rent a condo (in the mountains or anywhere fun) during the holidays.
We celebrated with my family (including my cousins) I can't explain what fun memories we had together.
I always looked forward to spending time with my cousins.
We are all pretty much close in age and got a long pretty well.
My older boy cousin's would always pull pranks on us.
I look back at it now and I am so thankful we got to spend time together this way.
The kids would put on a talent show for the adults.
We would stay up all night laughing and picking on one another.
When it hit midnight all of us would run around the house like headless chickens and try to do random things first for the new year...such as kissing the floor or doing the splits with a bowl on your head. Haha.
I miss this tradition and hope to start it back up again with my family.

  1. or you could join in on the tradition with your mom's side of the family and spend New Years at the cabin. We had the best time sledding this year on a huge hill and then the snowmobiles brought us back up, we played games all night, ate yummy food and just had a fab time! You should plan on it next year!
